Since one of our Monday meetings fell on Valentines day this year, we decided to have a Valentines Day party officially titled DECA Love Day. As part of this party we held a surprise faculty appreciation event to show our faculty just how much we appreciate all they do for us. We put together a powerpoint, made certificates of appreciation, and called each of the Marketing faculty that serve as DECA advisors up to the front of the class for a picture. We want our faculty to know that we couldn't do this without them and that the time they put into helping us become better leaders and better people does not go unnoticed.
