2011/2012 Officer Candidate Speeches

Today SLCC Collegiate DECA had each of our members who are running for an officer position in the 2011/2012 school year give a speech about what they feel would make them the best candidate for the position. Officer positions include:


Chapter President
VP of Chapter Communications
VP of Chapter Finance
VP of Chapter Public Relations
VP of Chapter Development
VP of Chapter Management
State VP
and the newly formed…
VP of Chapter Technology


Candidates included:


Mike Pham - Chapter President

Nicole Wiaderny - VP of Chapter Communications

Dana Graham  - VP of Chapter Technology

Cherie Beam - State VP

All of our candidates did a fantastic job with their speeches, even Dana who winged it when deciding to run last minute. We're so glad she did! It's up to the members now to vote these folks in; I know they'll make the right choice. Open positions will be appointed by the new officer team. 

We also took current officer team photos today. Dina couldn't be there, but I'll bet our prospect for VP of Chapter Technology, Dana, could photoshop her in. It has been such an honor serving with this amazing group of people. I will miss them when I graduate!
